St. Charles, IL – WBK Engineering (WBK), the St. Charles-based civil engineering design and consulting firm, and part of Bodwé Professional Services Group, is bringing Anthony Bryant on board to serve as Infrastructure Design Manager.
Anthony Bryant, PE, CFM, CPESC brings more than 25 years of professional engineering experience working with primarily public sector clients. As the Infrastructure Design Manager, Anthony will oversee various municipal, county, state, federal, Tribal, and private infrastructure projects. The addition of this leadership role is evidence of the continued desire to maximize value for clients of WBK and Bodwé. This strategic hire was made in support of the Bodwé mission to leverage the sovereignty of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi to build sustainable professional services businesses that grow the Band’s economy and legacy.
Throughout Bryant’s career, he has amassed civil engineering expertise that includes water resources, transportation, utilities, and more. “Anthony’s experience,” states Civil Engineering Manager, Andy Sikich, “provides WBK and the Bodwé Infrastructure Branch with additional depth and will help as we continue to expand and grow our civil engineering teams. His versatility will also allow him to assist other practice groups such as municipal engineering and water resources, while his local knowledge and decades-long presence will help us to expand our existing services throughout northeast Illinois.”
When considering his new role, Bryant states “I have had the good fortune of being able to work with, and learn from, some amazing engineering mentors over my career, and that has allowed me to work on a diverse and challenging array of projects. By working within the municipal market, I’ve developed a broad range of expertise and I’m excited to be able to apply this knowledge and experience to projects with WBK while helping mentor the next generation of engineers.”
“I’m excited to help enhance the capabilities of several practice groups and to have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and impactful projects, both locally and across the nation. Being involved in projects that can have such positive impact on communities is a huge plus for me and I’m looking forward to beginning this journey.”
