DHA Transition Support

We provide Initial Outfitting & Transition (IO&T) expertise to plan requirements and oversee the execution of the design and ​procurement of furniture, fixtures, artwork, casework, medical equipment, and communication and security systems (aka FFE-LVS) needed to​ outfit a new or newly renovated facility. Bodwé personnel also offer transition expertise to plan and oversee the execution of occupant moves and ​reuse equipment, excess equipment, as well as training medical treatment facility (MTF) personnel in the use of their new space or facility.​

​Our Transition Coordinators assist the government with the execution of military medical facility projects. They serve as the DHA-FE project representative ​and are responsible for determining and executing transition requirements, ensuring compliance with Agency policy, criteria, and standards. ​They plan and oversee the execution of initial outfitting, occupant moves, reuse equipment, excess equipment, as well as training MTF personnel in the​ use of their new space or facility. They capture best practices and lessons-learned and support the DHA-FE Project Officer (PO). They provide administrative ​support to include, but not limited to, providing written reports, scheduling meetings, recording meeting minutes and stakeholders input, and updating​ tracking mechanisms (e.g., spreadsheets) for IO&T requirements of the assigned projects. The primary focus is to directly monitor and​ coordinate initial outfitting, transition, and activation efforts of the assigned projects.
